I like having the consistency of
having a provider come into your home. It’s nice to have that constant
“reminder” and helpful hints to what your children need at this stage in
life. It’s just nice that someone cares so much as to take the time to get to know someone and their family, to teach them important things in “their” home. The group meetings for interaction, also the experience my children receive from a home educator coming in and building their confidence and sparking new interests that carry on until her next visit.
My children love having Sonja come with her toys. She gives me ideas on how to better interact with my children To have support from people who really know about child development and parenting. I do not get “stuck in a rut” as much. Donna gives advice and suggestions in a non-threatening manner.
